ABOUT

I am a native to Massachusetts and home for me is on the coastal South Shore of Duxbury, Massachusetts.  

I am an HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERAN from both the UNITED STATES AIR FORCE and the Massachusetts Air National Guard.  

I served my military commitment overseas at R.A.F. Lakenheath, England, and in Arizona, and at Otis Air National Guard Base on Cape Cod.

I'm a Dad to two amazing kids.  My son is in College and my daughter is a Junior in High School.  I am a certified USA Diving and AAU Coach. 

I love last minute get-togethers with friends and family, traveling to new places, working outside, cycling, skiing, keeping up with my kid's sports and activities, and I really enjoy my moments on Duxbury Beach.

I attended Duxbury High School.
(that's my brother to the left)  We were both Lettermen in 3 different sports.  I participated in Football, Swimming & Diving, and Track & Field.

I served HONORABLY in the UNITED STATES AIR FORCE and the MASSACHUSETTS AIR NATIONAL GUARD.

GOAL SETTING

I entered a "HANDS ON" Contest at the Cape Cod Mall and "WON" a new car!  25 contestants were randomly selected and I focused on my self-discipline and goal-setting ability and kept one hand on the car for 72 hours (3 days)!

I joined the United States Military as my father and grandfather did in service to our country. 

As an active duty military member, I earned the Air Force Achievement Medal for my work while stationed at RAF Lakenheath, UK - USAFE. I was able to achieve elevated rank, early, as well as monthly and quarterly base awards and recognition not only for my work, but for leadership and commitment under pressure while maintaining bearing.

I was stationed at R.A.F. Lakenheath, UK and a part of the United States Air Force in Europe (USAFE) for a 2-year tour as well as ATC at Williams Air Force Base in Chandler, AZ.

OTIS AIR NATIONAL GUARD

I went from active duty and then joined the Massachusetts Air National Guard on Cape Cod. At Otis ANGB, Craig worked with the F-106 Delta Dart and the F-15 Eagle.

•    Introduced account rebates for sales offering a credit to reduce return rates. Resulted in the lowest regional company return rates.

•    Expanded company sales from $11 to 19 million within three years by improving team communications and incentives. Maintained 18% annual sales growth with teamwork and growing sales with existing accounts.

Lead US product development, sales forecasting, budgeting, P&L, product lines, distribution and branding. Served as a member of Alain Mikli International managing the re-launch of the Vuarnet brand in the US.

•    Introduced new branding strategy for Vuarnet for the US market. Worked with skilled consumer product advertising agency and public relations firm to create a US marketing strategy.  Reestablished vintage product lines and introduced new designs to appeal to existing and new customers. Increased US sales by 132% within the first year.

•    Established US inside and outside sales force to move company beyond e-commerce marketing. Hired representatives within key consumer product markets and independent consumer product representative for secondary markets.

Developed go-to-market marketing and sales strategy focused on e-commerce, social media and point of purchase promotion. Created uniform brand messaging for retailers and consumers increasing sales by 160% in six months.
·   Developed new product eyewear designs for metal, plastic and combination frames focused on color, lens, and product packaging.  Launched product as a luxury brand appealing to retailers and exceeding distribution forecast.
·   Targeted company’s sale strategy on floatable products.

I started South Shore Diving Club, (SSDC), part-time in 2004, in an effort to help kids achieve their athletic goals.   I am continually learning more and more from our athletes than I think that they learn from their coaches.  Here are some of the team accomplishments:
 

  • 5 -  AAU DIVING "NATIONAL CHAMPION" TITLES.
  • 1 -  AAU RED-WHITE & BLUE NORTH 3-METER CHAMPION
  • 42 -  AAU ALL-AMERICANS (Top 12 in the country).
  • 3 -  USA DIVING - NATIONAL DIVING CHAMPIONSHIP FINALIST.
  • 2 -  NISCA H.S. DIVING ALL-AMERICAN. (top 100 in the USA)
  • 88 -  MIAA H.S. STATE DIVING CHAMPIONSHIP FINALISTS.
  • 1 -  MIAA D1 STATE DIVING CHAMPION.
  • 86 -  MIAA SOUTH SECTIONAL FINALISTS.
  • 7 -  MIAA SOUTH SECTIONAL CHAMPIONS.
  • 25 -  MIAA CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS.


The focus with these young athletes is to lead by example and that there is no substitute for hard work and working as a team to achieve your goals.  I am so proud of the team's accomplishments, but I know it is just the tip of the iceberg!
